His great-aunt Sophia is a local in Kalokairi who helped Donna while she was pregnant with Sophie, and let her stay in the farmhouse that would become Villa Donna. When Sophie confronts him, Bill is confused because of this fact, since Sophie is named after Sophia.

Bill Austin was replaced with Bill Anderson from Sweden.
