Alexio, who thanks to Bill Anderson's help, managed to reach the mainland, spots Apollonia and her family from afar. She is about to marry a rich man her family had chosen. Alexio cries out her name, and she calls out his. Then Alexio jumps into the sea, and the worried Apollonia crosses herself before she rushes to him in sea, leaving her astounded family behind. Her relatives follow her, but she manages to escape. She jumps to the waters and unites with Alexio.
Present Day[]
Apollonia is not seen in the present day sequences in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, however it is explicitly presumable that she is happily married to Alexio.
